Naked Cave - Three channel video instillation and performance
This project speaks about the de-materialization of space, deconstructing the meanings and characteristics a space can hold.
The constructed 'space' here is elusive, making it's barriers to the outside very open, a made up fairy tale like story is played out within the space as it's theatrical stage. Like creating a common background story of a new Nation, by creating new folk stories, this story of the 'wolf man’ who lives in the Naked Cave is an attempt to display how a place gains characteristics and roots to fulfill a human's need for stabilizing a 'real' sense of presence and place.
