In this painting exhibit - Omeee Momi bon apettit- site specific paintings are hung at Momi Tobys revolution café and art bar in Hayes Valley.
Currently working at the café as a barista, Omer found a way to bring forth his artist characteristics out.
By merging his paintings into the surroundings he manipulates the presence of the café.
He subjectively is portraying the actual regulars and fellow workers as painted characters eating foreign and grotesque 'foods' from his own personal omee momi bon apettit menu.
Omer examines the possibility of conjuring an extension,
to another persona of Momi Tobys cafe.
The portrayed subjects who inhabit the space frequently
become sort of performers, having a dual profile, the real and their fantastical double on the wall.
By penetrating the mundane cafe's backdrop an evolutionizing effect comes into play.

At the opening of the show a theatrical performance took place to further change the mundane cafe environment and challenge the boundaries of the norm.
