Puppets have an origin. In Omer’s work he attempts to excavate the essence within the imaginary, the magical place that puppets are born, whether it be through inner child pressure points to enable experimentation with the gaze or through animation where he brings himself into the mix and interacts with the puppets themselves to find clues and make connections.
